A backpacker's delight! The place was charming, with tastefully decorated common rooms and shared areas. The best room had a double bed, air conditioning, and a river view. The location was perfect, just a short walk away from the city and Jonker walk, making it ideal for exploring on foot. I also appreciated the cleanliness and friendly service of the staff. Plus, the place was well-maintained and had a homely atmosphere.
The walls were a bit thin and I had to deal with inconsiderate neighbors who made quite a lot of noise late at night. the limited showers and bathrooms could be a hassle, especially if there were other guests hogging them.

During my recent business trip to Malacca, my director chose The Jiong House for our stay, and I must say it was a fantastic choice. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a beautiful ambiance that promised a relaxing and wonderful visit. The hotel offered various recreational opportunities, allowing us to unwind and enjoy our downtime in between meetings. , the well-maintained facilities, such as the swimming pool and fitness center, provided a great way to stay active during our stay.
There was one minor issue that affected our experience.

The value for the money was amazing, with a comfortable room and a homey feel at Jiong House. The location was perfect, just steps away from the picturesque river cruise. The staff treated me like family, making my stay even more enjoyable.
The only thing that could make the breakfast better would be to have a wider variety of options on the menu.

The location of the hostel was very convenient, just a few streets away from the famous Jonker Street. The staff provided good service, as they waived the late check-out fee due to traffic congestion. the river view room had a nice breeze and a beautiful view.
The soundproofing in the quadruplet room was poor, as I could hear everything from the neighboring room. The room itself was quite small and had no windows.
